CLUB NEWS UPDATES

May 22, 2009 - Ron Yeater will be holding the Annual Pig Roast on Saturday June 27th. and he will be looking for workers and our annual chefs to prepare the beans, cole slaw and the other yummies. I do not have all the particulars yet for the dinner, but I will keep you informed.

Also, a big congratulations goes out to Tommy Capirchio for the fantastic game dinner that was held at the end of March. From what I hear, it was one of the best dinners of all time. The club would like to thank all the workers and the waiters and all who were responsible for the success of this event.

Last but not least, Paul & Jacques Nevcherlian, & Pierre Delos deserve a big thank you for a great fisherman's breakfast on opening day of fishing. We had a lot of members and their kids come down and everyone had a lot of fun. I do not know where Ed Mcgovern got these trout, because I have never experienced trying to catch a group of trout that came with a major attitude. These fish have been very picky, finiky, and just rude. They don't want to be caught and they need an attitude adjustment. But that is all part of the fun.

Anyways, you guys have my number and if you need anything, please call me. I've been trying to get down the club early Saturday mornings to wet a line and get some piece of mind from the week. I'm usually there until about 9:00 am. So if you would like to just come down and throw me in the pond, too late. Two weeks ago while fly fishing, I lost my balance and ended up standing in the pond. It was a squishy ride home. Anyways, keep in touch.
