HR 1207
a bill to audit the Federal Reserve

This is a bill to perform an audit of the organization that controls our money supply. As of today, June 5, 2009, 190 Congressmen have co-sponsored this bill which will remove the Federal Reserve's exemption from being audited, and requires an audit by the end of 2010.

Notably absent as co-signers of this important bill are our own Repesentatives Langevin and Kennedy. If you are as curious as I am as to why they would not want to have an audit performed on the body that determines our monetary policy you can email them here:

Representative James Langevin  Representative Patrick Kennedy

Fall is almost here!

Sunrise from across Card's Pond at Moonstone Beach

Summer is gone and autumn is on it's way, bringing cooler weather and the sound of migrating waterfowl to our skies and waters. It's time, this year, that I finally get back to the things I've enjoyed so much yet neglected for too many years. Looking at this picture taken so many years ago, I yearn to once more be sitting in the marsh anticipating the morning flight. 2007 is the year it will happen.

 Good bye

To a good friend

On Wednesday May 24, 2006 Starr (pictured on the left) was put to sleep after she was found to have a large growth that spread from her rib cage to her throat, and finally to her head. She'll be missed and remembered fondly as a loyal friend, companion, and protector who asked for little more than to; eat, lay on her bed under the desk, chase the birds and animals in the yard, bark at the UPS and FedEx guys, and most of all just to be with the people who loved her. Good dog Starr....rest in peace.
